Cleaning before a handover

A move-in or move-out clean has a clear handover point. The property may be empty, partly furnished or still being packed, and that changes what can be cleaned safely. Kitchens, bathrooms, accessible cabinet fronts, baseboards, floors and other visible surfaces are common priorities to discuss. Tell the team whether utilities and water will be available, when movers and trades finish, and whether keys must be handed over the same day. Photos of the current condition are useful, particularly for built-up kitchen areas or a property that has been vacant. If inside appliances, cabinets, interior windows or carpet cleaning matter to the handover, list them individually so the quote can include or exclude each item clearly.
